Prime Minister Ali Asadov chairs AIH Board meeting

Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Azerbaijan Investment Holding (AIH), Ali Asadov, chaired a board meeting on December 7.

The meeting reviewed reports from portfolio companies, focusing on their performance during the first half of 2022. Discussions also covered key topics such as enhancing corporate governance standards within portfolio companies; improving the legal and corporate structure of the Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company (ASCO), including bond issuances; and concluding a significant transaction related to Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) CJSC.

Matin Eynullayev, Chairman of the Board of Directors of AIH, CEO Ruslan Alikhanov, and ASCO Chairman Rauf Veliyev presented reports to the board.

Following the discussions, the Supervisory Board made decisions on the presented issues and assigned relevant tasks to the AIH Board of Directors.
