The 47th meeting of the Working Party on State Ownership and Privatisation Practices was held on October 21–22 at the headquarters of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) in Paris.

The meeting addressed a range of issues, including centralised ownership models for state-owned enterprises, mechanisms for nominating board members, the chapter on state-owned enterprises in the Africa Capital Markets Report 2026, and assessments of selected countries’ compliance with the OECD Guidelines on Corporate Governance of State-Owned Enterprises.

As part of the event, the OECD report Ownership and Governance of State-Owned Enterprises 2026 was presented. The report’s key findings, emerging trends and policy directions were discussed in detail.

The delegation of Azerbaijan Investment Holding (AIH) took part in the discussions and exchanged views with participants on international best practices in state ownership, with particular focus on centralised ownership models.

The AIH delegation also held a bilateral meeting with representatives of the Working Party to discuss the implementation of future cooperation projects.
