Azer-Turk Bank holds first meeting of reorganized Supervisory Board

Azer-Turk Bank OJSC has held the first meeting of its newly reorganized Supervisory Board.

The meeting, chaired by Ruslan Alikhanov, CEO of Azerbaijan Investment Holding and Chairman of the Supervisory Board, was attended by Supervisory Board members, representatives of Azerbaijan Investment Holding, and Azer-Turk Bank executives.

The meeting focused on implementing tasks outlined in relevant decrees and orders issued by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev. 

Mr. Alikhanov emphasized the importance of Azer-Turk Bank serving as a reliable business partner for all its customers, providing vital financial support to the country's real sector, and prioritizing prompt service through the adoption of modern banking technologies.

The Board discussed the bank's corporate governance system, reviewed management and financial reports, and assessed the progress of strategic initiatives.

Established in 1995, Azer-Turk Bank OJSC is 75% state-owned. According to the Order signed by President Ilham Aliyev on July 16, 2022, "On Improving the Management of Azer-Turk Bank OJSC," the bank was transferred to the management of Azerbaijan Investment Holding.
