SOCAR’s Supervisory Board meets for next time

The Supervisory Board of the State Oil Company of the Republic of Azerbaijan held a meeting.

Chairman of the Supervisory Board and Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov congratulated meeting participants on the occasion of May 28, Republic Day. The Chairman emphasized, “This year we celebrate Republic Day as citizens of a victorious, strong, and independent Azerbaijan, which achieved a glorious victory in the Patriotic War under the leadership of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev.”

The meeting discussed measures implemented to ensure the fulfillment of duties arising from decrees and orders of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The State Oil Company then presented on the status of tasks assigned at the Supervisory Board's previous meeting, and participants exchanged views regarding the implementation of SOCAR's 2021 financial plan.

The Supervisory Board of the State Oil Company was established according to the decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan “On Measures to Improve the Management of the State Oil Company of the Republic of Azerbaijan” dated January 23, 2021.
