National Leader Heydar Aliyev’s memory honored in AIH

An event dedicated to the memory of the founder of an independent Azerbaijan, National Leader Heydar Aliyev, took place in Azerbaijan Investment Holding (AIH) on December 12. 

Addressing the ceremony, Ruslan Alikhanov, Chief Executive Officer of AIH, highlighted the unique role of national leader Heydar Aliyev in Azerbaijan's history. 

The greatness of this visionary leader is increasingly appreciated over time. Thanks to his wise policies, Azerbaijan was able to preserve its independence, embark on a path of development, and gain international recognition.

The "Contract of the Century," signed on September 20, 1994, with leading global mining companies, was a significant achievement facilitated by the efforts of the National Leader.

Mr. Alikhanov emphasized that Heydar Aliyev, who earned the title of National Leader of the Azerbaijani people by devoting his valuable and meaningful life to Azerbaijan and rendering unparalleled services to the nation, will live forever in the hearts of every citizen, and his unforgettable memory will always be remembered with great respect.

The event included a screening of a documentary on Heydar Aliyev.
