AzerGold Supervisory Board discusses targets, development strategy

AzerGold CJSC Supervisory Board has discussed the targets and development strategy of the company in a regular meeting. 

The videoconference meeting, chaired by Matin Eynullayev, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of AzerGold CJSC, discussed AzerGold CJSC’s production and export targets, development strategy, profitability enhancement, foreign expansion policy and other topics.

The meeting also touched upon the issues related to the expansion of geological research on non-ferrous metal ore deposits in Karabakh and East Zangazur, and the implementation of joint mining projects in Central Asia and other countries.

In addition, the Ministry of Economy emphasized the contributions of AzerGold CJSC to the measures aimed at the development and transparency of the domestic jewelry market, and mentioned the additional measures planned in this direction. Moreover, a new pricing policy regarding the sale of gold coins and bars offered by AzerGold CJSC to the local retail market, and the possibilities of producing new types of gold products based on modern technologies were discussed.

The meeting also reviewed the works and measures implemented by the Company this year to fulfill the tasks arising from the relevant decrees and orders of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and relevant decisions were made regarding the aforementioned issues.
