Azerbaijan Railways Supervisory Board discusses modern corporate governance standards

Members of the Supervisory Board, the Board, and the Chairman of Azerbaijan Railways CJSC attended a meeting chaired by Rashad Nabiyev, Chairman of the Supervisory Board and Minister of Digital Development and Transport.

The meeting discussed and approved the regulations and composition of committees established to enhance the Supervisory Board's effectiveness and improve the management of Azerbaijan Railways CJSC in line with modern corporate governance standards, as well as the regulations for the corporate secretary.

The meeting focused on current operational matters related to the activities of Azerbaijan Railways. Discussions were held on measures taken to ensure the implementation of tasks arising from decrees and orders of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The Supervisory Board of Azerbaijan Railways Closed Joint-Stock Company was established by order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan on March 30, 2021.
