AIH CEO and Japanese Ambassador discuss investment opportunities

Ruslan Alikhanov, Chief Executive Officer of Azerbaijan Investment Holding (AIH), met with Junichi Wada, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to the Republic of Azerbaijan, on July 7, 2021.

Alikhanov briefed the Ambassador on AIH’s priorities and activities in relevant areas.

Ambassador Junichi Wada noted that Japan is interested in expanding cooperation with Azerbaijan and will make every effort to strengthen economic ties.

The two sides discussed the restoration and reconstruction of Azerbaijan’s liberated territories, projects implemented by Japanese companies in Azerbaijan, prospects for future cooperation, the development of economic partnerships, investment, and other matters of mutual interest.
