Azerbaijan Investment Holding (AIH) and the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC) of the State Council of the People's Republic of China have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
The new MoU seeks to foster and develop collaboration between the State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) under the supervision of AIH and SASAC by facilitating the exchange of experience in state ownership and corporate governance, as well as promoting direct partnerships between enterprises.
According to the document, the parties intend to share best practices in oversight mechanisms, organize mutual visits, expert consultations and training programs to develop corporate leadership and management structures, promote dialogue on reforms and strategic management, and facilitate the exchange of information on innovation-driven development.
At the same time, the parties agreed to promote the establishment of direct connections between the SOEs under their management, support the implementation of joint projects in the fields of infrastructure, energy, agriculture, industry, and sustainable development, as well as foster cooperation in investment and trade, and advance initiatives related to corporate social responsibility.
