AIH and Antimonopoly Service hold joint seminar on public procurement

Azerbaijan Investment Holding (AIH) and the State Service for Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control under the Ministry of Economy jointly conducted a seminar to educate stakeholders on public procurement procedures.

The seminar titled "Organization of Public Procurement: Ensuring Competitiveness and Efficiency" was specifically designed for state-owned enterprises within AIH's portfolio. It provided comprehensive training on key aspects of public procurement, including planning, organization, procurement methods, bidder requirements, and the evaluation and comparison of tender proposals. Furthermore, the seminar covered the outcomes of procurement processes, the conclusion of procurement contracts, and their subsequent management.

More than 50 representatives from state organizations and procuring entities participated in the seminar. Participants engaged in discussions to address potential challenges and resolve disputes related to public procurement procedures.

After the seminar, Mammad Abbasbayli, Head of the State Service for Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control, and Khayyam Mammadov, Deputy CEO of AIH, presented certificates to all participants.
