Data analyst

Azerbaijan Investment Holding is announcing the vacancy for the position of Data analyst.

Vacancy overview:

Data analyst is responsible for the development, management and constant optimisation of data structures.

Job responsibilities:

• Researching and analysing relevant data;
• Developing and enhancing data structures on the basis of AIH requirements;
• Consolidating data from financial and non-financial sources;
• Ensuring data compliance with the required structure, controlling its integrity and uploading into AIH database according to the guidelines;
• Controlling data submission timeline;
• Performing data visualisation and analytics;
• Reviewing policies and procedures on collection, maintenance, integration and documentation of data;
• Communicating with stakeholders for validation of data accuracy.

Job requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance, economics, business administration or engineering (international education is an advantage);
• At least 3 years of work experience in financial institutions or relevant departments in data analytics or data engineering field (international experience is an advantage);
• Good knowledge of financial reporting and analysis;
• Proficiency in SQL queries logic;
• Excellent Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI and Visio skills;
• Fluency in Azerbaijani and English (additional language skills are an advantage); 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Strong attention to details;
• Sense of responsibility and good time management skills;
• Ability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines;
• Good communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
