Minister of Economy meets with delegation of Vietnam's VinFast company

Opportunities for cooperation in the fields of industry and automobile manufacturing have been discussed with Vietnam's VinFast company.

Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov has met with the delegation led by Le Thi Thu Thuy, the Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of Vietnam's VinFast company.

During the meeting, information was provided about the country's favorable business environment, the legal and institutional mechanisms created for investors, tax and customs incentives, industrial zones, investment promotion tools, as well as the stable macroeconomic situation.

The parties exchanged views on cooperation with business communities to diversify the economic relations with Vietnam and on the sustainable development priorities.

The meeting also discussed the promotion of the local production, opportunities for joint activities in the field of electric vehicle manufacturing, and the importance of technology and experience exchange in this area.
