Meeting of the Economic Council on the Development of the Agricultural Sector was held

On April 20, a meeting of the Economic Council, chaired by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Ali Asadov, was held. The agenda of the meeting included discussions on the sustainable development of the agricultural sector, the current state of agriculture and its development prospects, measures aimed at increasing agricultural production and improving productivity, strengthening food security, expanding agricultural trade and export opportunities, protecting employment in the regions, as well as other current issues.

Minister of Agriculture, Majnun Mammadov presented a comprehensive report on agenda items. Members of the Economic Council, along with invited participants, delivered speeches on the issues presented. 

At the conclusion of the meeting, relevant decisions were adopted and directives were issued to the relevant bodies to support the development of the agricultural sector.
