Joint meeting of the Economic Council and AIH’s Supervisory Board held

On April 7, the agenda of the meeting chaired by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ali Asadov included discussions on the strategic development of Azerbaijan’s oil and gas and petrochemical industries, including strategic objectives related to oil refining and petrochemicals, future development prospects, the sustainable supply of petroleum products for meeting the long term domestic demand, and other current issues.

SOCAR President Rovshan Najaf delivered a presentation on the agenda items. Members of the Economic Council and the Supervisory Board of the Azerbaijan Investment Holding (AIH), as well as invited participants, including the Chairman of the Management Board and Chief Executive Officer of AIH, participated in the meeting.

At the conclusion of the meeting, relevant decisions were adopted and directives were issued to the Management Board of AIH, SOCAR, and other relevant institutions.
