Azerbaijan reviews development of transit opportunities

On June 9, a meeting was held under the chairmanship of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov on the development of existing transit opportunities in Azerbaijan.

Officials, heads of relevant ministries, and state companies attended the meeting.

The meeting analyzed the current situation and forecasts in the field of international cargo transportation, and discussed legal, administrative, and technical issues to expand the capacity of Azerbaijan in all categories of cargo, including increasing economic efficiency in the field of cargo transportation.

Relevant agencies have been given specific instructions.
