Azerbaijan reviews development of transit opportunities

A meeting chaired by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov was held on June 9 to discuss the development of existing transit opportunities in Azerbaijan.

Officials, heads of relevant ministries and state companies attended the meeting.

Participants analyzed the current situation and future prospects in international cargo transportation. They also discussed legal, administrative, and technical measures to enhance Azerbaijan's capacity to handle all categories of cargo, with a focus on improving the economic efficiency of cargo transportation.

Specific instructions were issued to relevant agencies.
