Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan sign several documents on cooperation

The signing ceremony for Azerbaijan-Kazakhstan documents took place with the participation of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev and the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, on March 11.

President Ilham Aliyev and President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev signed the "Decision of the 1st meeting of the Supreme Intergovernmental Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Kazakhstan".

Orkhan Mammadov, Chairman of the Management Board of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBIA) of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and Gaukhar Buribayeva, Chairperson of the Managing Board of the Damu Entrepreneurship Development Fund of the Republic of Kazakhstan, signed a Memorandum of Understanding between the Small and Medium Business Development Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (KOBIA) and Damu Entrepreneurship Development Fund JSC. 

Executive Director of the Media Development Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan  Ahmad Ismayilov and, the director of the Central Communications Service under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan,  Askar Umarov, signed a Memorandum on Cooperation between the Media Development Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Central Communications Service under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Rovshan Najaf, President of the State Oil Company of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), and Magzum Mirzagaliyev, Chairman of the Management Board JSCNC KazMunayGas (KMG) of the Republic of Kazakhstan, signed the "Memorandum on Strategic Cooperation in the field of purchase and sale of Kazakh oil between SOCAR and JSC NC KMG and an Agreement between SOCAR and JSC NC KM on the gradual increase of the volumes of Kazakhstani oil transported through the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan. 

The Chief Executive Officer of Azerbaijan Investment Holding, Ruslan Alikhanov, and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Samruk Kazyna JSC, Nurlan Zhakupov, signed a “Strategic Partnership Agreement”.

The Minister of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Adil Karimli, and the Minister of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Aida Balayeva signed the Action Plan for 2024-2025 between the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan".

The Minister of Digital Development and Transport (MDDT) of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Rashad Nabiyev, and Minister of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Bagdat Musin signed a Memorandum of Understanding between the  MDDT  of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of exploration and use of outer space for peaceful purposes.

The Minister of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Emin Amrullayev, and the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan Sayasat Nurbek signed a Protocol on Amendments to the Agreement on Cooperation in the Field of Education between the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated on April 3, 2017.

The Minister of Digital Development and Transport of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Rashad Nabiyev, and the Minister of Transport of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Marat Karabayev, signed the agreement on the mutual recognition of working diplomas of ship crews between the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
