AIH, Chinese telecom giant sign document on smart technology integration

Azerbaijan Investment Holding (AIH) and China's Fiberhome Telecommunication Technologies Co., Ltd. signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on the implementation of smart technologies, with the participation of  Mikayil Jabbarov, Minister of Economy,  Ruslan Alikhanov, CEO of AIH, and  Hai Lan, CEO of Fiberhome Telecommunication Technologies Co., Ltd. 

Information on the National Priorities for the Socio-Economic Development of Azerbaijan until 2030 was provided during the event. It was reported that successful cooperation with the world's leading companies has been established and important projects are being implemented in order to expand the application of smart technologies in the country. 

The implementation of this agreement with a company specialized in telecommunication technologies will strengthen the cooperation between the parties in the areas of smart infrastructure, innovative mechanisms, and information technology. Furthermore, it will promote business partnerships between Azerbaijan and China and accelerate the adoption of advanced business practices by AIH portfolio companies.

Fiberhome, operating since 1999, is one of the giant telecommunications technology companies of China and one of the world's largest fiber-optic cable manufacturers. The company has a wide product portfolio, including areas such as optical transmission systems, IP networks, data centers and modern network infrastructure solutions, and sells products and services in more than 90 countries around the world.
