AZAL, Railways, Baku Metro and BakuBus were transferred to the management of Azerbaijan Investment Holding

President Ilham Aliyev has signed an order on the transfer of “Azerbaijan Airlines” Closed Joint-Stock Company, “Azerbaijan Railways” Closed Joint-Stock Company, “Baku Metro” Closed Joint-Stock Company and “BakuBus” Limited Liability Company to the management of Azerbaijan Investment Holding, AIH.

            According to the Order, “Azerbaijan Airlines” Closed Joint-Stock Company, “Azerbaijan Railways” Closed Joint-Stock Company, “Baku Metro” Closed Joint-Stock Company and “BakuBus” Limited Liability Company under the Baku Transport Agency were transferred to the management of Azerbaijan Investment Holding, AIH.

             The Cabinet of Ministers is tasked with the resolution of the issues arising from the Order. The Ministry of Economy and Azerbaijan Investment Holding will take the necessary measures to resolve the issues arising from the Order.
