Ruslan Alikhanov
Born in Baku on July 9ᵗʰ, 1976.
In 1992 was admitted to the Faculty of International Law of Baku State University, and graduated with honors, in 1997.
In 1996 graduated from the University of Missouri-St. Louis, United States, and in 2002 graduated from the University of Texas with honors, majoring in Finance.
From 1998 to 2000 worked at the World Bank as a project expert in energy, agriculture, and finance in the Caspian Sea region.
From 2000 to 2001 worked as a strategic business manager in the US office of Dell Computers.
From 2001 to 2013 held various positions at McKinsey and Co., later being promoted to partner.
From 2013 to 2014 was the President and CEO of FESCO, one of the largest transport companies in Central and Eastern Europe.
From 2014 to 2018 was the President of Argo investment company, engaged in logistics, IT, telecommunications, agriculture and tourism sectors.
From 2018 to 2020 was Partner and Executive Director of Boston Consulting Group, including running the expert group (BCG TURN) on ad hoc situations in the CIS countries.
Since 2020 he is the Chief Executive Officer of Azerbaijan Investment Holding.
Member of the Supervisory Boards of SOCAR, Azerbaijan Airlines, and Azerbaijan Railways.
Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Azer Turk Bank.
