Elnur Aliyev
Born in Ganja on June 4ᵗʰ, 1983.
In 1998 he was admitted to the Law School of Baku State University and attained his bachelor’s degree with honors in 2002, and Master’s degree with honors in 2006.
From 2008 to 2009 pursued his master’s degree in international business law at King’s College London, within the framework of the “2007-2015 State Program on Education of Azerbaijani Youth Abroad” .
Began his career at the Ministry of Economic Development. From 2005 to 2009 he worked as an adviser, leading adviser, head of department at the ministry.
From 2010 to 2013 he was the assistant to the Head of the "Icherisheher" State Historical-Architectural Reserve Department under the Cabinet of Ministers.
From 2013 to 2017 pursued his career at the Ministry of Education, serving as assistant of the Minister, Head of department, and Chief of staff.
From December 2017 to May 2020 served as the Adviser to the Minister of Taxes.
By the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated May 13, 2020 was appointed as the Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
By the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated February 10, 2022 was appointed as the First Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Engaged in pedagogical work at Baku State University.
Married, has two children.
